White Stone Implications
Revelation 2:17 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and heed what the Spirit says to the assemblies, (churches). To him who overcomes, (conquers), I will give to eat of the manna that is hidden, and I will give him a white stone with a new name engraved on the stone, which no one knows or understands except he who receives it. (AMP)
Sometimes in our quest to discover the heart of God we concentrate on how He deals with the masses. We can lose track of the truth that God deals in love with every individual and He rejoices in their uniqueness. A white stone with a new name, a secret shared only between a loving God and His child. Personal.
There is a special place in the heart of every Christ follower, a room of communion set aside for only two, the Christian and his God. This is a place of adoration, longing, and gratitude expressed from the Christian and acceptance, nurturing, and guidance lavished from his Father. This sacred universe is reserved and cherished by God Himself and admits no other entities but the Lover and His beloved.
We live in a world of manipulation. Forces in and out of the church world create currents to pull souls into conformity to wills. The more insidious among them have no reverence for the sanctity of a believers personal relationship with God. The only aim is gathering control and satisfying power lust with body counts. Whether the manipulators are aware of the fact that they are assaulting the citadels of private communion is irrelevant. The effect is the same, believers are robbed of life flow. We must guard our special place and defend the right of others to theirs.
Those who flow with God's Spirit will recognize and hold dear the absolute right of believers to their special place with their God. In fact, their overwhelming desire is that each believer would find all that they need there. For this, my friends, is the very definition of maturity. When that communion is thriving, when that connection is unhindered, all life is flowing from the Vine, and fruit is abundant.
John 15:8 When you bear produce much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine. (AMP)
