Trust God to guide you!

We were on our way to Florida for church meetings. We stopped in a motel near the Georgia line. At the pool I was talking to a very interesting person while my young daughter swam. This person’s torso was wrapped in gauze, he was coming back from his honeymoon. He had gotten very severely sunburned and his skin peeled. Not wanting to waste the Florida sun he went out again and got a bad burn on that new skin which sent him to the doctor!

My back was to the pool.

Suddenly my head jerked around in mid sentence and I stared at the pool. A sense of alarm and urgency was on me! My young daughter was not above water! I jumped in immediately and reached down and found her quickly. She was already breathing in water, it spewed out of her mouth! She was ok.

Unknown to me the pool had a deep area drop off, not marked. A kid had pushed her into the deep area. She was afraid of water after that but soon overcame it at the Daytona Beach shallow waters.

God saved her. I believe an angel jerked my head around and God woke me up to reality. Ya, I was dumb to get so distracted. God doesn’t get distracted.
