Angel stomp

I was transporting my pregnant sister-in-law, Melonie, a wonderful preacher’s wife, to town. I was driving an old Volkswagen bug. We had just come over a small bridge and came upon an intersection. All of a sudden my foot slammed hard against the gas peddle like it was stomped on. Then in the corner of my eye I saw a pickup truck moving fast toward me. He had run the stop sign. I thought we were about to get rolled but because of the rapid acceleration, ( a miracle, that car was not known for responsiveness ), the speeding truck went behind us, missing by inches. We thanked God with great exuberance!

The next day the muscles in my shin were very sore from the incident. Melonie went on to have her baby who has grown up to be quite a lover of God and minister. They named her Angel.
